Senior Financial Leadership Opportunity

In2 Consult is partnering with a leading international client to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This is a senior financial leadership role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Management of the preparation of IFRS Plc Group Interim Statements, Preliminary statements and Annual Report and Accounts.
  • External Audit: Management of the Group's external year-end audit and interim review, including Audit Committee reports and presentations.
  • Group Reporting: Management of the reporting for the Group's overseas sales entities (15+) in Europe, Asia and the Middle East run by an out-sourced provider.
  • Compliance: Ensuring accurate management and statutory reporting, local audits and local direct and indirect tax compliance.
  • Internal Audit: Management of the Group out-sourced Internal Audit function.
  • Control Matrix: Monitoring and developing the Group's internal control matrix and accounting policies.
  • Technical Guidance: Providing guidance on complex technical accounting matters including IFRS 15 revenue recognition and debt modification accounting.
  • System Development: Finance lead for development and enhancing of SAP BYD and BPC Group systems.
  • Leadership: Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Group FP&A, Group Tax and Treasury and Finance Business partners.
  • Group Reporting: Group Reporting (including monthly group multi-currency consolidation and cash flow reporting, quarterly covenant compliance, interim and year-end external reporting): o UK Financial Operations (including general ledger accounting, overseas subsidiary reporting, back office treasury function.
  • Team Management: Management of 20+ employees.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Ex-Audit ACA/ICAEW/CA Qualified.
  • IFRS Expertise: IFRS adept.
  • PLC Experience: PLC and Group level Experience are a must have requirement for this role.
  • Group Consolidation: Group Consolidation experience with a large PLC Setting (50+ Entities).
  • Group Reporting: Group Reporting experience.
  • Multi-ERP Environment: Experience of working in a multi-ERP / system environment.
  • Change Management: Proven track record of driving change and process improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Expereince in line managing large teams.

Competitive Remuneration Package:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of up to £150,000 and a car allowance.
