Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Financial Planning Director to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Finance organization, you will be responsible for leading our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, driving business growth, and delivering strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the FP&A function, developing and implementing financial planning and analysis strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, driving informed business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in FP&A.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability through financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Life Sciences or Diagnostics industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, and Hyperion Planning.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
