Support Worker for Individuals with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Enable, an award-winning social care charity. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes.
About the Individuals We SupportWe support two lovely ladies, Rose and Shirley, who require assistance with daily living tasks, social interactions, and community activities. Rose is an outgoing and independent individual who requires support with finances and meal planning, while Shirley is a quiet and gentle personality who requires encouragement and prompting with daily tasks.
Your Responsibilities- Support Rose and Shirley with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and personal care.
- Assist with social interactions, including banking, shopping, and community activities.
- Encourage and prompt Shirley with daily tasks, such as meal planning and medication management.
- Work collaboratively with the Enable team to develop and implement personalized support plans for Rose and Shirley.
We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be a team player who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and flexible outlook. You will also be able to adapt your communication style to develop successful relationships with the individuals we support.
