Position Overview

Lead Radar Systems Engineer – Premier Group Recruitment

A prominent global electronics firm specializing in defense solutions is seeking a Lead Radar Systems Engineer to enhance their Research and Development team. This role focuses on creating advanced solutions across various sectors including Space, Air, Land, and Marine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive expertise in RF and radar systems, along with relevant techniques, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Oversee RF and radar architecture, module development, and integration processes.
  • Design and implement signal processing algorithms tailored for radar functionalities.
  • Develop a comprehensive simulation suite for subsystem evaluation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Radar Engineering, including Phased Array systems, video or image processing, and plot extraction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, intricate design and analysis initiatives.
  • Familiarity with pulse compression, Doppler filtering, CFAR, and detection techniques.
  • Expertise in RF and antenna design.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).

Desirable Additional Skills:

  • Experience in hardware testing and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of source control and issue tracking systems (e.g., Git, JIRA).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++.
