Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Team Lead to join our club services business and lead our data science team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategy and direction of our data science work, helping us to improve our ability to support client clubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data science strategies to drive business growth and improve client outcomes
  • Lead and manage a high-performing data science team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science insights into business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in statistical methods and machine learning techniques, and apply this knowledge to drive business value
  • Work closely with our technical teams to deploy models to production, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques, with experience in developing and deploying models to production
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship and development
  • Strong programming skills, with experience in Python and SQL
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
