About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Science Lead to join our team at Fortice. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for leading client delivery across a range of projects, including data science, data engineering, and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client delivery across multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of data science solutions
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for data science to drive business growth and improve decision-making
- Develop and implement data science strategies to drive business outcomes, including data engineering, machine learning, and statistical analysis
- Mentor and lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in data science practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and data security
- Proven experience in leading client delivery and managing cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of coding best practices, design patterns, and experience with code and data versioning, dependency management, code quality, and optimization
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- SC clearance eligibility
