About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with key accounts and opportunities to create incremental growth in the Fire Suppression portfolio.
  • Maximize account penetration by serving the full spectrum of Fire Suppression solutions needed, leveraging Johnson Controls' broad portfolio of offerings.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with colocation customers, consulting engineers, and design build contractors to earn basis of design (BOD) and influence specifications.
  • Lead account and project strategies to grow our share of the market across our entire portfolio of Fire Suppression Systems offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving Fire Suppression sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to adapt and flex while working with customers to find the best solution.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent language skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling Fire Suppression solutions within the data centre/colocation industry.
  • An existing network of relationships within the data centers industry, specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Altify, and day-to-day software solutions.
