We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HSE Controller to join our client's site at Sunderland on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR Team and promote a good attitude towards health and safety across the company.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting in third-party and client group site audits and inspections.
- Conducting internal audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and business departments, with a focus on resolution tracking.
- Leading continual improvement initiatives on manufacturing and business processes, with a focus on HSE management and improved performance.
- Coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy.
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a similar role within manufacturing, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Formal auditor training in ISO 9001/14001/18001.
- Knowledge and experience of environmental management requirements.
- Experience in auditing and root cause analysis techniques.
