Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead automation project lifecycle activities, including design, configuration, implementation, testing, commissioning, and validation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Develop and maintain automation systems, including interfaces with enterprise systems.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements:

  1. Practical experience working within manufacturing and packaging environments.
  2. Experience of the automation project lifecycle, including design, configuration, implementation, testing, commissioning, and validation.
  3. Practical experience working within the pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Practical experience working with Siemens PLCs and HMI software.
  5. Experience of working with SQL databases / Historians.
  6. Degree (or HNC/HND) qualification in engineering, computer science, automation, or related engineering discipline.
  7. Project management certification (i.e. CAPM / PMP).
