Housing Services Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and responsive housing management service to our customers. Your primary goal will be to support and empower customers to resolve issues and become more independent.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling tenancy-related queries in accordance with contractual requirements and Great Places policies.
- Providing direct tenancy support to ensure tenancy sustainment.
- Marketing vacant homes in accordance with Great Places policies and allocating properties that meet the needs of customers and the business.
- Managing rent accounts, focusing on balancing customer needs with business requirements.
- Coaching customers to identify solutions to paying their rent, supporting budgeting, and setting up realistic payment plans.
- Responding to anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches in accordance with Great Places policies and the Service Delivery Framework.
- Ensuring safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and appropriate action is taken in line with legal requirements and guidelines.
- Conducting regular estate and scheme inspections, monitoring neighbourhood service contracts, and addressing property and estate management issues.
- Experience of working in the housing sector or a similar role is desirable.
- An understanding of estate and tenancy management and experience of delivering a range of tenancy management-related services is desirable.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused environment, delivering a high standard of customer service tailored to individual needs.
- Organisational, time-management, and prioritisation skills in a hybrid environment.
- Adaptability in using Customer Relationship Management software systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for use at work.
