We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Surveyor to join our team in Bedfordshire, working on social housing repairs, voids, and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings to identify defects and recommend repairs
- Assist senior surveyors in managing property portfolios and transactions
- Prepare technical due diligence reports and building pathology surveys
- Monitor construction work and the performance of project design teams
- Produce reports to clients and engage in face-to-face communication
- Travel to appointments around the Bedfordshire area
- Manage contracts from start to finish, including dealing with Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, and Defect diagnosis
- Have a good knowledge of current Building Regulations
- Experience in the social housing sector and external liaison
- Must have a reliable vehicle for travel
- Strong technical knowledge of building surveying and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
