Housing Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Surveyor to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a key member of our social housing division, you will be responsible for managing technical and complex projects from start to finish, providing a highly professional and competent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage technical and complex projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
• Building Pathology Surveys: Conduct thorough building pathology surveys to identify defects and provide recommendations for repair and maintenance.
• Technical Due Diligence: Prepare technical due diligence reports to support clients in their decision-making process.
• Contract Administration: Manage contracts from start to finish, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other professionals.
• Travel: Travel to appointments and sites as required, using your own vehicle.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in the social housing sector, with a strong understanding of building regulations and codes.
• Skills: Excellent project management and technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
• Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
