Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cancer, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
  • Work independently and make sound decisions in complex clinical situations.
  • Deliver compassionate and effective care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Ensure safe administration of medications and maintain accurate records in accordance with NMC guidelines.
  • Participate in regular mandatory training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with current nursing practices.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as an Oncology Nurse within the last 2 years.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and ongoing professional development.
