About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to provide support and care to older adults in our community setting. As a key worker, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing care plans, assisting with personal and intimate care, and helping with the use of aids or equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
  • Assist with personal and intimate care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Help service users with the use of aids or equipment, such as walkers or wheelchairs
  • Liaise with health professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care
  • Support mental and physical activities, such as exercise or hobbies
  • Maintain a high standard of personal environment and effects
  • Monitor nutritional needs and ensure service users receive adequate nutrition
  • Answer emergency calls and respond to service user needs
  • Maintain professional communication with visitors and colleagues
Requirements
  • Hold or be working towards an SVQ 3 in Social Care
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Respect for Christian worship and ability to facilitate service users' attendance
