The Role

As a tutor at Explore Learning, you will work with up to six children at a time, between the ages of 4 and 16, to support their learning and development. You will be responsible for teaching, inspiring, and nurturing the growth of these young minds, helping them to achieve consistent progress and unlock their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach: Deliver the national curriculum and entrance exam preparation to each child, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Inspire: Encourage children to become fearless learners, embracing challenges and developing a growth mindset.
  • Nurture: Create a safe and supportive learning environment, building strong relationships with each child and their families.

Requirements
  • GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 hours over 2 days a week.
  • Flexibility to work between Tuesday and Saturday, with start times between 3:30pm and 4pm on weekdays.
