Marketing Specialist Job Description

At Skillsearch, we're seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing initiatives and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing marketing campaigns, managing digital channels, and creating engaging content to attract clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Awareness: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase Skillsearch's visibility across APAC, MENA, North America & Europe.
  • Campaign Support: Design and execute marketing campaigns to engage clients and candidates in the games and tech sectors.
  • Content Creation: Maintain a content calendar and produce high-quality content for social media, blogs, email newsletters, and other channels.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and schedule posts across various social media platforms, monitor engagement, and grow our online presence.
  • Website Management: Collaborate with our website designer to create and edit website landing pages, write and publish blogs, and manage job postings.
  • Email Auditing & Marketing: Ensure job titles and information remain up-to-date, assist with designing and executing email campaigns, and manage subscriber lists.
  • Digital Marketing: Support the implementation of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid ads, and online partnerships to drive traffic and leads.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting company participation in industry award submissions, events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on marketing performance to the Director team across digital channels, providing insights to optimize campaigns.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience managing social media accounts, creating content, and executing campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing.
  • Analytic and metric-driven with Excel proficiency.
  • Proactive, organized with strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Photoshop).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
