About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Coordinator to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating referrals, managing triage, and providing support to our clinical and administrative teams. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate referrals and manage triage to ensure timely and effective support for patients
  • Provide support and guidance to clinical and administrative teams
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Manage and maintain accurate and contemporaneous records
  • Recognize and respond to safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a professional qualification in mental health, such as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Counsellor. You will have experience of working in a mental health team, assessing risk, and partnership working. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
