Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our business.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including Management Accounts, to ensure the organization's financial performance is accurately reflected.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and support budget holders in managing their budgets.
- Financial Controls: Implement and manage a process for balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring completion within the required timescale.
- Statutory Returns: Manage statutory/regulatory returns, ensuring they are completed and submitted on time.
- Financial Systems: Assist in maintaining the finance team control framework, including finance systems and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in preparing Management Accounts and supporting audit processes.
- Financial Skills: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with various stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in finance systems, ideally with experience in Exchequer or similar software.
