Job Title: Management Accountant - Financial Analysis and Reporting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Central Employment Agency. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data to support business profitability and expansion, providing accurate and insightful reports to facilitate key decision-making processes, and generating detailed Management Accounts to assist in strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact business growth and profitability.
  2. Management Reporting: Develop and present regular management reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  3. Management Accounts: Prepare and present detailed Management Accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to support business decision-making.
  4. Budgeting: Contribute to the development and implementation of annual budgets and forecasts, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  5. Capital Expenditure Management: Oversee capital expenditure to optimize resource allocation and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  6. Financial Statements: Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and insightful commentaries.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  8. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the wider team to achieve excellence in financial operations.
  9. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and practices, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in a related finance role.
  2. CIMA or AAT Level 4 Qualified.
  3. Strong proficiency in Excel and good data reporting experience.
  4. Great attention to detail and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  5. Familiarity with accounting software systems, with experience using Xero being advantageous.
  6. Flexible and committed team player.
