Commis Chef Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our dynamic team at SSP Group. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, including meat and vegetable preparation.
  • Help with deliveries and stock rotation.
  • Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
