About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in General Surgery to join our friendly and supportive general surgery team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. This is an ideal opportunity for surgeons who are planning an application for a national ST3 post.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support in theatres, ward cover, HOT, on-calls, and clinics. There are ample training opportunities, with Trust grade registrars allocated a consultant educational and clinical supervisor in a similar manner to Deanery trainees.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 12 months General Surgical experience
  • Completed satisfactory basic surgical training
  • Ability to organise own learning and time
  • Potential to cope with stressful situations and undertake responsibility
  • MB. ChB. or equivalent
  • MRCS or FRCS or equivalent
  • Current registration with GMC
