Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Operations Manager to join our client, an international full-service commercial bank in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Business Development and Financial Markets departments to meet funding requirements and manage funds movements in a timely manner.
- Lead projects related to operational systems, ensuring their timely completion, achievement of objectives, and cost efficiencies.
- Liaise with the Head Office and IT regarding system issues and other business requirements.
- Supervise and lead a team of banking professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the operations team.
- Provide specialist knowledge and support to the Operations function to ensure deliverables are achieved to meet business requirements.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is required.
- Demonstrated experience in banking operations with a strong understanding of financial regulations is essential.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry with a proven track record in similar departments or business streams.
