About this opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Banking team in London. As a key member of our Business and Commercial Bank (BCB) portfolio, you will partner with senior stakeholders across the BCB and Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) business and finance teams to provide financial support and guidance.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with business stakeholders, providing financial analysis and insights, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will also work closely with the wider Finance Business Partner community to drive business performance and achieve our sustainability and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial support and guidance
  • Build and lead regular and ad-hoc financial performance updates
  • Support the business in making strategic decisions around pricing, proposition, and investment
  • Use your analytical skills to understand performance and build new analysis to drive business forward
  • Forecast and plan to help set the direction of the business
  • Collaborate with the wider FBP community to support key meetings
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with post-qualified experience working in financial services
  • Experience in business partnering and challenging/influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in financial forecasting and planning
  • Ability to interpret performance and communicate key stories and messages
  • Agility and strong prioritisation skills
