Role Overview

Are you a talented freelance producer looking to contribute to impactful social-change projects globally? Zinc Network is seeking producers to join our pool of creative professionals. As a Producer with Zinc, you will craft compelling video content by scripting stories, engaging with contributors, coordinating remote teams, and ensuring high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide editorial oversight and ensure adherence to ethical standards.
  • Manage creative workflow and supervise the project team.
  • Scout and select journalistic stories.
  • Commission written content from partners.
  • Generate creative ideas for videos and social media content.
  • Oversee designers, animators, editors, and content producers.
  • Write captivating scripts and treatments.
  • Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Review and update edit scripts and project paperwork.
  • Participate in internal and client reviews, incorporating feedback effectively.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Experience in journalistic roles and video production.
  • Skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects.
  • Creative thinking and idea generation.
  • Expertise in archive research and motion graphics.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
