About the Role

We are seeking talented freelance video producers to join our growing talent pool. As a Freelance Video Producer at Zinc, you will play a crucial role in bringing our impactful social-change projects to life. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from concept development and scripting to editing and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide editorial oversight and ensure all content adheres to Zinc's high standards of accuracy, integrity, and impact.
  • Manage the creative workflow and collaborate effectively with a team of designers, animators, editors, and social media specialists.
  • Develop compelling video concepts and treatments that resonate with target audiences in diverse cultural contexts.
  • Write engaging scripts that convey complex information clearly and concisely, capturing attention and driving understanding.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct thorough research and utilize archival footage to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and authenticity in all content.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a video producer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of video production techniques and workflows.
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
