Stonegate Farmers Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our Financial team based at our Head Office in Wiltshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete daily transactions, including bank postings, supplier payments and receipts, ad-hoc payments, and inter-company transfers.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, VAT return, and Statutory reporting.
- Load payment files into the bank for approval.
- Post payments and receipts into the company ERP (JD Edwards).
- Drawdown of funds from invoice facility.
- Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Assist with purchase ledger reconciliation.
- Deputise for the Credit controller.
- Assist with bank reporting.
- Assist with the VAT and other tax returns.
- Able to display our company values: Respect, Aspire, Courage, One Team, and Diversity.
- Thorough and methodical in approach.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders of various levels.
- Ability to prioritise and organise work, and work to deadlines.
- A team player who knows when to ask for help, but is also happy to give support.
- GCSE Maths & English.
- Qualified AAT or qualified by experience.
- Experience of bank reconciliation and internet bank portals.
- Experience of working in a finance environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
