Finance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a thriving, professional, and innovative business as a Finance Officer. The company is based in a state-of-the-art facility in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, offering a unique and inspiring work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily transactions, including bank postings, supplier payments, and receipts.
  • Assist with bank reconciliation, bank reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and VAT returns.
  • Perform daily cash reporting to senior business leaders.
  • Load payment files into the bank for approval.
  • Post payments and receipts into the company's ERP system (JD Edwards).
  • Drawdown funds from the invoice facility.
  • Reconcile the balance sheet.
  • Assist with purchase ledger reconciliation.
  • Deputise for the Credit Controller.
  • Support with bank reporting and VAT returns.
Requirements
  • Experience in bank reconciliation and internet bank portals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
