Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective workshop strategies to drive productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Front of House team to deliver seamless customer experiences and ensure effective communication.
  • Oversee resource management, workflow, and inventory control to optimize workshop performance.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, excellence, and continuous improvement within the workshop team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a main-dealer workshop, mechanic, or aftersales environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the requirements to manage a team of technicians.
  • Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
