We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective and efficient procedures to purchase commodities in accordance with product specifications and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
- Prepare and issue solicitations, receive and evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Communicate with user departments to ensure their requirements are met and resolve any issues related to purchasing, delivery, and payment.
- Monitor supplier performance and prepare reports on items or services purchased, cost, delivery, and product or service performance.
A-level completion is required, and entry-level purchasing or related experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques is also preferred. Working towards level 3 CIPS is a plus.
