About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at the BMW Group UK. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing all indirect purchasing activities across various locations in the UK.

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality services to our internal customers while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage small-scale purchasing requests, including commercial negotiations and supplier due diligence
  • Support other purchasers with more significant projects and tender processes
  • Assist with supplier onboarding process and commodity strategy planning
  • Manage internal business stakeholders and provide purchasing system training and support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a business focus (ideally 2:2 or above)
  • Experience of MS Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility for tasks and projects
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

We offer a competitive annual salary of £23,700, 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract), and an attractive pension scheme. Our contracted working hours are 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, allowing you to develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
