Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective and efficient procedures to purchase commodities in accordance with product specifications and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
- Prepare and issue solicitations, receive and evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to ensure that procurement requirements are met.
- Monitor supplier performance and prepare reports on cost, delivery, and product quality.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
A-level completion is required, and entry-level purchasing or related experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques is also preferred. Working towards level 3 CIPS is a plus.
