We are seeking a highly motivated and organized TB Nurse Specialist to join our proactive and supportive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with tuberculosis, working closely with our lead TB Consultants to ensure the highest standards of care.
Main Responsibilities- Manage TB cases, conducting nurse-led clinics and providing specialist advice to patients, carers, and health professionals.
- Attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to the development of innovative approaches to clinical services.
- Supervise junior staff, teach qualified and unqualified staff, including students, and contribute to service development, business planning, and clinical governance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with the TB Lead Nurse and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local community groups and health professionals to support the management of TB patients in their homes, clinics, and acute hospital settings.
