About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised TB Specialist Nurse to join our proactive and supportive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with TB, working closely with our lead TB Consultants.

Main Responsibilities

  • Case management for TB cases
  • Conduct TB Nurse Led Clinics: Mantoux/BCG, TB contact screening, Active and latent TB, and new entrant screening
  • Attend MDT and complex meetings
  • Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and health professionals
  • Practice within the scope of personal professional competence
  • Day-to-day supervision/training of staff/students
  • Support the TB Lead Nurse in innovative and proactive approaches to the redesign of clinical services

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months' experience
  • Critical thinking, reflection, and analysis to inform clinical assessments
  • Flexible approach to meet the demands of the service
