Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized TB Specialist Nurse to join our proactive and supportive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with tuberculosis, working closely with our lead TB Consultants.

Main Duties
  • Manage TB cases, including case management and follow-up.
  • Conduct TB Nurse-Led Clinics, including Mantoux/BCG, TB contact screening, active and latent TB, and new entrant screening.
  • Attend MDT and complex meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and health professionals on TB treatment and management.
  • Practice within the scope of personal professional competence and maintain up-to-date knowledge of TB treatment guidelines.
  • Supervise junior staff, teach qualified and unqualified staff, including students, and contribute to the development of the TB service.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months' experience.
  • Critical thinking, reflection, and analysis to inform clinical assessments.
  • Flexible approach to meet the demands of the service.
