Deputy Head Housekeeper Job Description

As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience exceptional stays in immaculate rooms.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our rooms
  • Mentor and guide your team to deliver exceptional service and attention to detail
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest comments and issues, resolving problems efficiently
  • Oversee the team's workload, ensuring tasks are completed within set timeframes
  • Clean bedrooms to the highest standards, adhering to our quality control procedures
  • Ensure the team adheres to our hotel procedures and protocols
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper as required, taking on additional responsibilities
  • Assist in the induction and training of new team members, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Contribute to the control and management of stock ordering and linen supplies
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards. As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Previous experience in a 4-star hotel environment, particularly in a supervisory or management role, is desirable. However, if you're a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to bring your skills and experience to our team, we'd love to hear from you.
