Position Overview

This position involves assisting our Operations teams in evaluating volume predictions, developing routing strategies, and creating shift schedules to maintain operational efficiency while minimizing costs without sacrificing service quality. You will oversee a weekly budget exceeding £4 million and manage capacity for over 6 million parcels weekly.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:

  • Tracking customer and depot trailer utilization to ensure movement targets are achieved.
  • Regularly assessing driver schedules to meet route hour objectives.
  • Coordinating with the Network to ensure compliance with service benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with Customer Relationship Management to maintain acceptable standards for customer collections and service levels.

  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset, and exceptional organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency in Excel, with transferable skills to Google Sheets.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Additional Information

This role primarily requires day shifts; however, flexibility may be necessary during peak periods, including weekends, particularly from November to December.

A valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory for this position.
