About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) as a Mood and Anxiety Pathway Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing referrals, conducting mental health assessments, and delivering evidence-based clinical interventions to children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals and undertake mental health assessments for children and young people with mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the complex needs of patients with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A core professional registration.Postgraduate development and training in CYPMHS.At least 3 years of experience working with CYPMHS.Therapeutic work experience with complex cases.Experience of working with difficult, disturbed, or challenging children and young people.Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems.How to Apply
