Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Sales in developing and executing the annual commercial strategy.
  • Comprehend the hotel’s sales objectives to align efforts with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and enhance areas of business requiring additional focus.
  • Contribute to local sales initiatives by proposing and implementing relevant activities.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to create comprehensive product and service information for potential guests.
  • Generate accurate monthly reports to meet the needs of the hotel and management.
  • Assist in preparing presentations on the proactive sales team's contributions for senior management.
  • Help develop an annual sales budget covering travel and related expenses.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Participate in management meetings to strategize on sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare contracts in line with current business conditions with support from the Sales Coordinator.
  • Oversee offers and discounts for repeat bookings in collaboration with the Reservations team.

  • Agree on RFP strategies with the Director of Sales and assist in managing the Cvent Lanyon platform.
  • Drive MICE revenue growth through consultative selling and relationship management.

  • Travel as necessary for business purposes.
  • Lead the sales function in the absence of the Director of Sales.
  • Attend networking and trade events, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity.
  • Communicate effectively the brand values of One Aldwych, reinforcing our position as Covent Garden's premier independent hotel.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as directed by the Director of Sales.
