Position Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Lead to manage the execution of our sustainability initiatives and client expectations in the capital. The successful applicant will possess a background in environmental management within the construction sector and will be adept at aligning projects with our sustainability framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing our Environmental Management System (EMS) on various projects with guidance from the Regional Sustainability Lead
  • Ensuring that procurement documentation adheres to sustainability standards
  • Overseeing compliance with environmental legislation through site inspections
  • Directing projects aimed at minimizing carbon footprints and waste generation
  • Guaranteeing that projects fulfill Client sustainability criteria
  • Documenting and reporting on project sustainability performance
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancement
  • Communicating strategic objectives and accomplishments
  • Disseminating best practices
  • Facilitating training sessions on environmental management

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in environmental management within the construction industry
  • Familiarity with environmental assessment techniques
  • Expertise in managing sustainability obligations

This role is a Fixed Term Contract position.
