About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to Occupational Therapists across the service.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy pathways and protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of the occupational therapy service and ensure it is aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert clinical knowledge and advice to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and support junior staff and students.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the Trust's quality strategy.

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience of working in a mental health or learning disability setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
