About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and support to our Occupational Therapists, while promoting the role of occupational therapy within our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assessment and interventions to patients within their own environment using a broad range of therapeutic assessment techniques.
  • Oversee and support a varied clinical caseload and provide person-centred and needs-led care.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Provide leadership to Occupational Therapists working within our community mental health team.
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership, expertise, and advice.
  • Support and lead on quality improvement initiatives, representing our trust in internal and external forums.
