About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior position and provide clinical leadership and support to our Occupational Therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assessment and interventions to patients in their own environment using a range of therapeutic techniques.
  • Oversee and support a varied clinical caseload, providing person-centred and needs-led care.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and success.
  • Provide leadership to Occupational Therapists working within the team, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership, expertise, and advice.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and represent the trust in internal and external forums.

Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Accreditation as a Practice Placement Educator.
  • Significant postgraduate training and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Forensic risk assessment training or willingness to gain within 12 months of appointment.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant Master's Degree.
  • CLAIT or equivalent computer skills.
  • Membership of a professional body.
  • First-line leadership or management training.
