Work Schedule: This role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, spread over 5 days, including weekends and public holidays. Typical shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no evening or split shifts. We are also open to discussing part-time opportunities.

Compensation: The annual salary for this position is £23,166.

Employment Type: This is a permanent position.

Role Overview: Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be stationed in our kitchen, focusing on the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Your culinary creations will be served directly to our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the National Trust Cookbook to prepare, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Assist with deliveries and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure smooth service operations.

Training and Development: We provide a tailored induction program, along with training in food safety and allergen management. Additional professional development opportunities are available for those interested.
