We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Harlands Road, Haywards Heath. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food experiences for our guests.

About the Role

  • Prepare and cook lunch according to specific menu plans
  • Assist with food preparation, including hot and cold food
  • Place orders and manage stock levels
  • Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Present and garnish food to a high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or cooking experience is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A DBS check is required
  • Opportunities for training and development, including Food Safety Level 2/3 certification
