Job Title: HR Business Partner - Restructure Project

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to lead a major organisational restructure project for a public sector organisation in Greater Manchester.

This is a full-time position, paying £50k - £55k, with hybrid working (2 days WFH) and flexible working hours.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in organisation restructure and working with Trade Unions, with a focus on reviewing operating models and supporting redundancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large restructure project affecting all aspects of the organisation
  • Work closely with existing HR Business Partners to advise on the re-design of current operating models
  • Work closely with Trade Unions to ensure they are kept informed of proposed changes
  • Review proposed target operating models, complete job evaluations and organisational re-design
  • Carry out consultations with employees and stakeholders of various levels regarding redundancies, redeployments and other impacts of the restructures
  • Identify required interventions following the re-designs around organisational development and recruitment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in organisational design and restructures
  • Confident in engaging with key stakeholders and Trade Unions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working with or within the Public Sector

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proactive and hands-on, with a strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging issues
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Minimum of L5 CIPD
