Job Overview

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Remortgage Paralegal to join our forward-thinking Conveyancing firm in Teesside. As a key member of our busy Remortgage team, you will be responsible for advising on all aspects of the conveyancing process, from instruction through to completion. This will involve dealing with Freehold, Leasehold, and unregistered Remortgages, as well as conducting file reviews and managing your own caseload.

Your Mission

You will start by assisting a Paralegal, following a training plan designed to develop your skills and knowledge. As you progress, you'll be responsible for signing off Remortgage files and completions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and SLA requirements. Exceptional customer service is key, as is assisting the Team Leader in managing overall team capacity and reporting requirements.

Key Competencies
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Remortgage Conveyancer, or working towards an LLB.
  • Thorough understanding of the CLC Code of Conduct and other regulatory bodies' rules, such as SRA and Land Registry.
  • Ability to handle your own caseload with proficiency in using a case management system.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
Offer Details
  • Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Location: Based in Teesside.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
