Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Remortgage Paralegal to join our forward-thinking Conveyancing firm. The successful candidate will be part of a busy Remortgage team in a fast-paced and progressive environment. This role involves advising on all aspects of the conveyancing process, from instruction through to completion, including dealing with Freehold, Leasehold, and unregistered Remortgages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of Remortgage files, conducting file reviews and dealing with all stages of Remortgage files, including title approvals, search results, and mortgage offers.
  • Sign off Remortgage files and completions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and SLA requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist the Team Leader in managing overall team capacity and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Remortgage Conveyancer, or working towards an LLB.
  • Thorough understanding of the CLC Code of Conduct and other regulatory bodies' rules, such as SRA and Land Registry.
  • Ability to handle your own caseload with proficiency in using a case management system.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
Offer Details
  • Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Location: Based in Teesside.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
