Job Description:

**About the Role**

As a Team Leader – Soft Landscaping, you will be working alongside and supervising Operatives on site. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality soft landscaping schemes for new build housing developments. You will be working with a small team to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Utilize plans and planting diagrams to accurately create landscaping schemes
* Prepare soil, import topsoil, grade, and level as necessary
* Seed and turf areas
* Bark and mulch as required
* Plant trees and shrubs
* Perform general horticultural duties as needed
* Ensure skips are loaded correctly and safely
* Record and report completed work
* Communicate any issues or problems with your Line Manager
* Notify H&S issues, observations, or accidents in line with company procedures
* Maintain correct uniform and PPE
* Ensure vehicles and machinery are in good order and safe to operate
* Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, clean, and serviceable

**Requirements:**

* 2 years' experience in soft landscaping of new build housing developments
* Current CSCS and SSSTS Cards
* Driving license
* Licenses for Dumper and Excavator (ideally)
