We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at ParetoFM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of cleaning services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support services to clients, including assisting with holiday and sickness cover, site spot checks, and reporting any delivery issues or shortcomings.
- Assist Regional and Account Managers with monthly audits, providing feedback to operatives and clients.
- Monitor Health and Safety on site, including delivery of toolbox talks, online training, and new employee inductions.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and advise on portable appliance testing.
- Monitor Smart task usage and ensure team adherence to instructions.
- Previous supervisory experience in multisite working, time management, and computer literacy.
- Driving license essential, with experience using cleaning machines beneficial.
- Awareness/knowledge of Health and Safety issues, and good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Desirable: relevant NVQ in FM, and experience within soft services, ideally cleaning.
Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Responsibilities- Human Resource Management: responsible for checking the quality of work and supervising less experienced staff.
- Physical Resource Management: responsible for the care of tools and equipment, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Communication: primarily internal communication with Account Managers and clients, with occasional liaison with contractors and visitors.
This role requires high levels of concentration, judgement, and decision-making, with a need to be alert at all times.
