The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Technology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of software development and tech-led improvement projects that support our mission to enhance digital utility solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of Software Development and Tech-led Continuous Improvement projects
  • Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with Product Managers and Lead Developers
  • Ensure business alignment and preparedness for technical deliveries
  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines and monitor and report RAG status of project schedules, quality, and cost
  • Identify, manage and report RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Manage the involvement of internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to facilitate business approval for live software releases
  • Prepare project communications plans
  • Provide guidance on project principles and governance
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Professional project management qualification (Prince 2, Agile PM, APM etc)
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of project delivery life cycle
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • Knowledge of Agile principles (desired but not essential)
